Drones in the skies

We are happy to announce that we are one of the first companies to have acquired the new and highly acclaimed DJI Phantom 4 Pro. The Phantom drones by DJI are probably the most recognisable camera drones on the market.

The onboard camera now has an upgraded 1-inch sensor with 20-megapixel still photo capabilities. That larger sensor gives it 11.6 stops of dynamic range, and can shoot 4K at speeds of up to 60 frames per second and bitrates of up to 100Mbps, a mechanical shutter, and f/2.8 aperture, 5 direction obstacle avoidance and more.

DJI is calling the Phantom 4 Pro the “smartest and most creative flying camera of its size.” The Phantom 4 was already a capable drone for UAV beginners wanting to capture some footage or aerial photography, and the Pro makes it that much easier by adding a pair of stereoscopic sensors on the back of the drone (the Phantom 4 only had them on the front) and an IR sensor on either side.

We shall start using this drone on our projects soon once we have tested its functions and checked that all is working how it should. We look forward to publishing these new great photos and videos and supplying our clients with even better images.
